About Me
Work

Hello, welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

My journey with art has never ceased to amaze me; my first love is watercolour painting and although I work in graphite, acrylic, pastels and oils, I always find myself gravitating back to watercolours. I found over the years that my style lends itself to abstract experimentation, it is this I believe that helps me to explore and push the watercolour medium in the way that I do. To this end, I have been collaging oriental rice papers with watercolour which gives a rich depth to my work, capturing an essence of light and atmosphere; (although this won't be so easy to see on your computer screen).

I am essentially self-taught but in recent years I have studied a Diploma of Art and Creativity which was completed with Honours in 2008. I am now represented by the Black Sand Studio and Gallery in Wanganui, New Zealand.

Thank you for taking time to explore my world of art – enjoy! Contact me to let me know what you think. Questions or comments are greatly appreciated.
